First and foremost, what the world needs is more under-$6000 motocross bikes. This is the only one—and it is really two bikes in one. Small-bore two-strokes are the kind of bikes that young riders need to get a foothold in the sport. They have the perfect weight, power and simplicity to teach young riders the ropes of racing. They don’t cost an arm and a leg to race—and the 2012 CR125 actually comes with one free rebuild, and a displacement boost at the same time.

You need to get a handle on this link posting thing. Everything you put up is bad because of the crap at the end ( #13 ).

I dunno, must be something your browser is doing. I finally saw one of these things at the track over the weekend. First new Husky I've seen in a couple decades I think, I don't even know that Texas has a dealer. I can't decide if Husky was just going for minimalist or just plain cheap by making the thing nearly naked of plastic, but it works. I'd love to see the trend this bike has started continue with other brands.

While helping a rider out of a deep rut at a local HS this weekend, the husky's plastic didn't hold up too well. Pulled out at KTM, Yamaha and Kawi with no problems, Husky seemed cheaply built (plastic-wise)

If you're using the link option don't. Simply cut and paste directly to the text field.

I have an '06 WR125 and it shares the plastic (once retrofited) with the new bikes and yes, the plastic kind of sucks. Husky built the shrouds so that they split apart so that it can be easily taken apart during a race (ie the ISDE). But because of this, they get caught on EVERYTHING and get ripped off. It's ridiculous.

It's a super fun bike though, I would love to spend some more time on a new one, especially a cr144. They're well built but some things Husky does is just annoying, the price easily makes up for those annoyances though imo.

This review pretty much confirms the impressions I got when I tried the 144CR (not CR144) back in 2010. Nice bike at a nice price.

It's a site issue with links, not the OP's fault.
