Do you put your weapons on the bike or how is this moto-related?

You'll probably see little or no difference. What distances will you be shooting? Unless you are going way out there, I wouldn't be too worried. Now shooting up and down hills? That's an issue.

If you don't have a rangefinder with a grade compensation, at least dig around on the internet for some charts for your caliber and weight.
I don't know how much expierence you have so don't be offended if I say some simple stuff, but bullet drop going up or down hill will be your biggest problem, not the altitude because gravity is the same at 6,000 as it is at sea level.

You should be able to easily find some charts online that will give you something to work with. It would suck to have a trophy in your crosshairs and miss by 3'.

Just shoot it a few times to make sure it's correct, i wouldn't chance guessing and miss a opportunity to harvest a nice deer.

If you zero a rifle center mass at 200 yards, a good rule of thumb when hunting is 1 inch high for every 100 yards of distance past 200 yards.

400 yards is not very far, it will be little or no difference.

Bad advice...

A 130 grain .270 bullet will drop about 24 inches at 400 yards if zeroed at 100 yards.

We shoot quite a bit of long range.
Oops, that's zero at 200 yards...

14 y.o shoots foster dad and another man at eastern Oregon cabin

At first glance, the one-room log cabin in the Blue Mountains of Oregon looks like any other deer camp: a wood stove for heat, soft drinks piled outside on the porch to keep them cold, and camouflage clothing hanging from the stairs leading to a loft.
Closer examination begins to tell a tragic story. A piece of clothing soaked in dark red blood lies crumpled on the floor near a bolt-action rifle with a telescopic sight, the bolt open.
The images are contained in photos released Friday by the Grant County Sheriff's Office, which says a 14-year-old boy shot and killed his foster father and another man at the cabin while they were on a deer-hunting trip in dense forest outside the tiny community of Granite.
The boy, who was not identified because of his age, shot and killed the two men at the cabin about midnight Wednesday then ran off before accidentally shooting himself in the leg, Sheriff Glenn Palmer said.
He returned to the cabin for help, and another member of the hunting party held him at gunpoint and taped him to a chair until deputies arrived....
