I was at the French round at Arbis, on my honeymoon... valley was hotter than hell , track was mint, French fans were, well , French fans.

Was going to try and get to Nismes, but couldn't swing the extra days off.

There were some proper MX tracks back in the day I have to say. Way cooler than the Moto-GP-with-dirt kind of tracks we see today. You needed some proper braking techniques and throttle control back then. But maybe I'm just old and biased Whistling

And especially cool to see the legendary Håkan "Carla" Carlqvist being interviewed. As a Swede I can say that that dude was, and probably still is, one of a kind on a personality level.

Track was sweet but looked sketchy as hell. Its cool to see those guys enjoying a coke after the race and actually drinking it lol.
