Trick question. Top 5 first lap, Top 10 lap after, and top 20 before he pulls off before the next .

What’s with all these “ how would Carmichael do” threads lately.
He’s been retired for years, let it go...
It’s not like he’s been keeping in shape, waiting to make his “comeback”.
He won everything, now he’s retired, really out of shape, getting old and enjoying The good life.
If he entered a national race next week, he probably wouldn’t finish or would finish way back in the pack. What else do you expect??...lol

Honestly, with 3 months to prepare he’d podium. Did you see him 2 years ago at the “retired All Star” race or whatever they called it at the Mx season closer? He’s still got nearly all the speed.

Dungey mentioned that when he was training at the goat farm Ricky would jump on the bike cold and run laps a second or two off his pace...

With 3 months he's podium? His legend just grows as he gets older. He couldn't beat an amateur Jeremy Martin when he made his LL comeback. I'm sure he was riding plenty for that too

Forget RC . How about the GP goat ? Everts is still in shape . I bet he could top 10 at Red Bud this weekend. Evil

He would lead the first lap then fade back to about 35th.

Now to be fair, they were handing out plaques to the winners. Had it been Applebee’s coupons or a funnel cake, you know he would have lapped Martin. Tongue

Maybe that’s a stretch. You’re probably right.

However, if dungy says he was a second or two off per lap, and dungey could run with the top guys....sounds like top 5 to me no?

Ricky Carmichael is like the Chuck Norris of moto. He would do whatever he needed to do to grind the competition into dust. He doesn't need to come back........he came and did what no one else ever did and probably never will and left. No woulda, coulda, shoulda........he dida.
