How do you score a race worn jersey?

I have been a huge Tomac fan since he started racing and he has been my favorite racer for the last 5-6 years. I am hoping to get a race worn Kawi #3 jersey without paying $500-1000+ on ebay. What's my best bet on getting one, just hang around late after the races or what? I dont know anyone in the industry so I dont have that kind of connection that I can get one that way.

My son got his jersey from Washougal moto 2 2016. We were walking back to the truck late after the race and Tomac’s coach driver called the kids over to give them his dripping wet stank ass gear before they hit the street. It was like 8-9pm and we were the last car left in the place.

I got lucky with the Larry Ward jersey I have. He'd just finished one helluva race with Damon Bradshaw at Muddy Creek in '88, and I happened to be the only kid standing at the bottom of the announcer's tower when he was heading for his post race interview. I still have it 30 years later, too.
