Hey guys,

I just bought a fresh pair of Tech 10 and I would like to know how do you guys protect the leather of the boot?

The leather on my previous pair of Tech7 was really damaged and almost all gone from all the washes and I would like to prevent that on my new boots...

Any special product to wash and protect?

Thanks !

Contact Localriders. He'll pay you to clean your boots.

Leather conditioner after you wash them. Same for leather knee patches on pants. Don’t let them dry out and crack. I’m also a firm believer in periodically washing the inside of my boots and spraying with some sort of disinfectant as bacteria will break down the foam over time...although I once knew a guy that never cleaned his boots so.......

New style or old style tech 10’s? I’ve found the new style to be quite a bit more durable and after a quick wipe down with sc1 after washing them they look almost new. Soles are holding up super well too.

I try to keep mine away from water. the threads are generally the first to rot. and then the plastic then the leather.

Yeah the new style of Tech 10. I got the Red and White version so the leather isn't white like my last ones. It's easier to clean this way and I don't have to use hard stuff to wash them.

I will definitely try some leather conditionner.

I also have SC1 for my plastic on my dirtbike, I could try it on the plastic of the boot as well.

Thanks alot guys !

Joking aside..... Armor all wipes are what I use after cleaning my Tech 7s to help condition them. I just use a little lemon joy and a scrub brush to clean them under cold water by hand. Throw them on the boot dryer. After that wipe with the Amorall wipes.

There’s no leather on the boots to condition.
