How to clean your white boots

So I white Alpinestars tech 7s and there pretty dirty. I've cleaned them with some soap and power washer but that doesn't do the job. Any products or ideas? Let me know!

I use a product called 'Simple Green'

1. Rinse the boots with a pressure washer.
2. Spray on Simple Green and then use a brush.
3. Let them sit for about a minute
4. Rinse the boots again with the pressure washer

This has worked best for me.

Scotchbrite with hondabrite cleaner available at the local honda shop. Spray it on, and then scrub them with the scotchbrite.

That's what I always did. I always wanted my white boats to be clean looking.

I use Clorox Cleanup or the generic version, is is in the kitchen cleaning section at Grocery stores or Walmart

all those are fine options but for me the easiest way i have found.

swing buy one of those quarter eating car wash places.

hang the boots up on the floor mat clips, yes the are strong enough to hold.

use the tire cleaner or engine degreaser option. spray the boots down until they look radioactive.

flip them around and repeat.

then switch to high pressure rinse and watch them shine.

Simple Green and a brush always worked for me.

It's also easier to keep them clean if you always keep them clean...

I use the simple green way, it works great.

I have also used the white wall tire bleach… on tires it's insane… I may give it a whirl on boots.

I use Mean Green which is a cheaper version of Simple Green and it works great. The replies above have the procedure down to a tee!

you can spray bleche white on any white surface on your bike and it will come out like new....side panels, front fork gaurds, radiator louvers, it even works pretty good on aluminum and wheels with a scotch pad. I've used it on my boots for years......and it works magic on white letter tires..Smile

Spray your bike and boots down with shout and let them sit, then power wash off. Both will look brand new.

Never buy white boots, look old very quickly but they make an awful lot of them in that color scheme.

Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser once the boot is wet or you can wet the sponge. These can be found with the cleaning products at any store. They don't last long but they will make white like new again. I have not tried on anything other than white so use caution, I believe bleach is the main ingredient.

I always use Purple Power and a mild scotch bright, also a nice little trick is sticking them on a road cone upside town to keep the water out of them. Some water still gets in, but its not terrible

Nothing works like Shout. It's not a harsh cleaner like some other cleaners. I use it on my bike, boots, chest protector, and helmet. It seriously makes them like NEW white every time. After riding in the red clay around N Texas, it works.

I've always used this on my white boots too & it does work great!

Just an observation though, as a kitchen manager, I have worked in kitchens for over 15 years. The one thing you always noticed was that the floor degreaser's that we used to clean the floors, would break down your shoes over time fairly rapidly.. Even quality kitchen klogs/shoes. I noticed this w/ my Alpinestars after a year of cleaning them with this. The plastic sides started to become brittle & crack until It had a big hole. I'm sure they should have lasted alot longer. I'm not sure if that was the cause, but just from experience, I know harsh degreaser's break down shoes. I haven't used any on my new boots yet & I'll probably try the magic eraser or something like simple green. Anything thats not so harsh.

Soap, water, Mr. clean magic erasers. Only thing I can't get off is the shifter mark.

It by far works the best on keeping white boots white, but you aren't going to restore boots that have 2 years of mud stains back to looking new with anything.

Mr clean pads. I actually use knock off brand but it works just as good. Havnt found a mark or stain that wont come off with these. Sometimes you just have to srub super hard
