Since I'm old, I wear just about everything my body says I need (worn now based on past experiences / injuries):
Bell Moto 9 Carbon Flex Helmet
Leatt Neck Brace / Atlas Neck Brace
Leatt Pro Chest / Back Protector (probably the BEST protection for chest / back / ribs I've ever worn)
Leatt C-Frame Knee Braces for races / Answer Knee-Shin Guards on most practice days
Fox / Fly boots
And I wear the hip pads inside my MX pants

Crop top, G-string and flip flops. I’d rather look good because if you don’t look good you can’t win.

Seriously.. mobius knee braces, fox instinct boots , fox pants- jersey-gloves, bell moto 10, Oakley airbrakes.
I will only wear high impact eye protection now. Motor cut out off the face of a sky jump, bent my renthal cross bar with my face on landing. Head and eye protection is a must have for me.

I wear helmet, goggles, chest protector, knee pads, boots, and gloves. I just wear athletic synthetic underwear, and smartwool ski socks. I tried to wear biking shorts, but the chamois pad would soak up my sweat and caused me to get monkey butt.

Same here with the rigid lens goggles. I’m pretty minimal with the “optional” protection and wear the really thin A-stars chest pro and some janky knee pads beyond the requisite boots, helmet, etc. but good eye protection is something I’ll never skimp on.

Think I wear everything but a Kidney belt. 6D ATR-2, Leatt 5.5 neck brace, Leatt 3DF AirFit (roost deflector, not the full on body armor), POD K8 knee braces, SG-12 boots.

Some people think I go overboard but I've had enough injuries at this point I just want to lower the risks as much as possible.

Helmet, neck brace, base layer shirt with 3DO shoulder and elbow pads, chest and back protector, base layer pants with hip protectors, knee braces, boots...

Pretty much everything, now I have injured wrist and have been thinking if I should get mobius wrist brace 😂

As much as I can afford Smile .

Helmet with MIPS
Gloves (with a bit of rubber over the knuckles). They aren't just for looks.
Oakley Frontline goggles with the thick lenses.
Asterisk knee braces
Boots (of course)
Troy Lee Designs 5955 chest protector

I still need elbow pads, and possibly wrist braces and a neck brace.
