Hi everyone,
I have a very very important project for my masters degree that I am in great need of your help with some research. I'm not asking for specifics unless you feel like indulging in them. All your help is GREATLY appreciated.
How much, on average of the past 2 to 3 years, do you spend annually on this hobby? You can be a casual rider who rides maybe once every 6 months to a passionate rider who spends 50 out of 52 weekends riding or racing. Single, you and your spouse ride, or your entire family participates, it does not matter. It can be from buying a new or used bike, gear/products, maintenance of your bike, race/riding fees, gas, buying a new rig every year, everything related to you (and your family) participating in motorcycles.
A. $0 - $1,000
B. $1,001 - $10,000
C. $10,001 - $20,000
D. $20,001 - $30,000
E. $30,001 - $40,000
F. $40,000+
Thank you again everyone. It truly means a lot for everyone that helps.

Compared to my boat, next to nothing. Keep the $20, good luck.
This year I am skipping the insurance except 4 fire and theft. Boat insurance is $145, go figure.
The Shop
Last 2 years: A
That said I have been in all categories - that I am sure of.
It has been a great ride
My guess is that i now fall into the mid to low 4 figures
Pit Row
The last two years I was in grad school I only rode my dirt bike once "A." Now that I'm done and have insurance, the next few years will probably be "B." I'm a leisure-enjoyment rider. Pick whichever answer you want.
Mostly local stuff with a riding trip in the off season.
