Seems like he always loses the lead with a couple laps to go someone has to know the exact number my guess would be at least 8

The same amount as he has now. I think Coop would’ve found a way to get by him by the end regardless

I was thinking more of if you toke who lead lap 20 compared to who lead the last lap since the change how different would the wins be especially with roczen cause it’s seems like he’s lost a lot of races with two or three laps to go

about the same. he takes over the lead with a couple laps to go because he sets up to do so at about 5 to go. he would just settle in to 2nd place for about 15 laps, stay loose, and if the race "doesn't come to him" he would start charging around lap 15 and try to make something happen.

I know it’s kinda of pointless cause a rider is always gonna try to force the pass with two laps to go compared to if he knows there seven laps left but I’m still curious what the numbers would look like and why is everyone bringing up Webb he’s not the only one whose beat roczen with a couple laps to go I know Anderson and tomac have done it a couple times too

Everyone is brining up Webb because he took the red plate from Ken and now has the momentum.

The rounds are fast running out for another momentum shift.

Webb knows how many laps are left that’s when he turns it up with just a couple laps to go if it was 20 laps Webb would get him on the 18th

While this conversation is pretty pointless, to play it out you would have to think the old format of laps versus timed races would play into Kenny’s favour. With the short lap time’s we’ve seen this year on average the main events would be roughly 5 laps shorter plus the heat races would be shorter which would equal a much fresher track than what the guys are racing on by the end of 20 mins. I feel Webb’s biggest strength is maintaining speed on a beat down track, he adjust his lines and is the fastest guy in the last couple of laps however Kenny’s biggest strength is speed on fresh tracks ie heat race Ken. So with that logic I think Kenny would have more wins on the season based on his ability on smooth tracks however as I prefaced this, it’s all pointless speculation.
