Great question Diesel. Whoever finishes all 17 rounds in the top 5 wins this thing in 2017. Dungey, Musquin, Reed, and Anderson have all proven they can do it. Can the others? But I maintain that if someone's worst finish is a 5th and they complete the entire series, we have a winner.

I predict crashes and injuries will be a problem with the new format. 5 extra minutes doesn't sound like much, but it adds to nearly 1.5hrs of racing to the season. Times when riders are fatigued and tracks are beaten down.

One reason Lites racing is exciting is that the seasons ends long before they become a snooze fest. 1.5hrs added to the 450 class is like having five additional rounds.

I hope these are all erroneous thoughts and I'm far from the truth.

I would have picked Dungey to complete the outdoors in 2016 but..... a quick slip and it was all over. So to pick anyone and say 100% they will make the entire series is just crazy. The odds may be in favor of some and not so for others in the end anyone of these guys can have a second of bad luck that will end the season.

Yes and no it's only the mains extra time there's not extra time in practice and qualifying and LCQ so it's not really like 5 extra rounds.

Hahaha, yes they will. But not all 22 will be seeing every checker at every race. That's usually only a handful of guys who can survive the season.
