Great ride by Plessinger. It was exciting to watch. I hope he can keep it going, but I think come next saturday night somebody else will take the points lead away from him.

Personally I hope he keeps it all the way to the end, but I think his starts are going to hurt him in at least 2 of the 3 motos next weekend at A2. I think ultimately it’s going to be a close battle for the championship between him, AC and Mick-L-Wrath.

Can’t wait to see the 23 on red background, though...
If he keeps winning?

AP earned it last night. Great ride! I hope a Kawi takes the red plate before it is over though.

If he keeps winning he will keep the red plate since he is the current points leader. Unless you weren’t actually asking a valid question??

He has been on the cusp for a few years now. It is his time, he has much of a shot at this title as anyone. The top 4 guys on the West Coast are so close. Its going to be a great series.

That red plate is real heavy, ask McElrath, Marvin, Roczen, Anderson and Tomac.

He has been very fast this year, and his come from behind ride of yesterday proves it. However, his starts have always been a problem and this could cause him some issues. If he can figure this out, he'll be the man to beat for sure.

To me, he just looked stronger than the rest.
I mean, he passed everybody from 10th.
Won going away.

Might of just had a good night, all do.
But if things don't change up, and luck sticks around, how are the rest gonna beat him?

Maybe so. The pass for the lead, looked a bit over the top, if he woulda lost it there I wouldn't have been surprised.

Consistent wise, 17 might be the guy to win it that way. Sounded and looked like that's how he's thinking.

I will not be surprised if he loses it next weekend, but then gets it back again at another round.

Most all the fast guys last night were on the edge of crashing hard!

That was definitely a Plessinger type of track. Rutted, broken down, and steep cupped out transitions (not nearly Seattle ruts, but he smoked Them in Seattle last year). If he can stay on 2 wheels he can win the title. He's got diapers to buy so he needs to be cashing bonus checks. Lol

Savatgy and McElrath looked timid. Rightfully so, you couldnt win the title last night on that sketchy track.

Cianciarulo was the only guy who was matching AP on speed last night, but he threw it away twice pushing to get the lead.

I hope this is Plessinger's year. He has shown some serious flashes of brilliance, usually on the rougher tracks as pointed out by Kirk. None of the 250 west guys seem like standouts this year.

I'm pulling for him!
His interviews and other media is that of someone who is truly thankful and excited. It's fun to watch.

I grew up watching his dad and I associate Scott Plessinger off-road and GNCC with laying the groundwork for KTM over the last 25yrs. Scott was a helluva Champion and a great face for the brand.
Those early-mid 90s KTMs were a different animal, it he proved how good they could be.

I firmly believe modern MX fans should offer a "tip of the cap" to guys like Scott Plessinger for piloting those orange and purple 'odd balls' and giving KTM the foot-hold they needed to ultimately deliver the most advanced MX models to the US consumer.

The KTM you know today, is possible bc of the GNCC woods of the mid 90s-00s.

Hope so. Still prone to bad starts and mistakes. Lots of fast and hungry guys.
This^^

I think AC will redeem himself tonight. As long as AP limits his mistakes, he'll be in the hunt for sure.

Liking your thinking Superdave. I do think AC will be putting some pressure on himself to get up there. It was awesome to see AP's emotion with the W was good to seeCool

I think so. I think Dylan is going to have a breakout year on the east.

Could be a big year for the boys in blue. Especially if Webb can join Barcia up front on the big bikes.
