It's important to show who's top dog early, to gain confidence. But it's more important to not lose points on your fellow riders.

Every point will matter, however a solid top 5 will help keep any of them happily in the hunt.

In a series where over 75% of the riders will fail to score points in every race, consistency is way more important than winning.

The RV approach seems to work. Get points, keep yourself in contention for the whole season. Its a marathon not a sprint.

I don't think that it will matter anymore than any other year. The run for the title doesn't really start until you get to the East Coast and for sure someone will step up an look like the favorite. That's just MHO. Who that will be is anyone's guess, but someone will. I don't think we will 4 or 5 guys battling for the title all season long.
