Terrific race! SO happy to see Febvre silence the critics, kid was on rails all year and deserved that championship.

Hope the second moto can hold up, I was on the edge of my seat the last ten minutes.

"The French don't want none."

Jokes aside, Febvre did cross across him down the hill. Hope Cooper isn't too upset.

Amazing race. I don't care what anyone says, but the AMA vs GP aspect *does* add a certain edge to the proceedings. It did when Villopoto was riding the GPs, and it has here.

Cut across? It's called taking the line away. I was standing at the bottom of that hill, that was a beautiful, balls out pass.

Coming down he hill was fine, it was going up that was a litrle questionable IMO. I think that was deliberate.

The pass coming down the hill was textbook.

To keep things in perspective... Febvre beat Webb on his first 450 race by 3/4 of a second. USA without its top riders so far has gone 1-2-3 in MX2 and 2-3-4 in MX1.

Yeah , I also think Febvre didn,t really need to cut across Webb like he did on the uphill , but to be fair ,he was paid back at the top !

The downhill pass after was a great move though , but was surpised Webb didn,t try to push him out at the bottom , as he had every chance too

who cares? It was an awesome race.
I don't mind if an Israeli rider wins as long as it's entertaining

To keep things on perspective, it's Glen Helen.

And Febvre never rode this track before.

Being aussie i have no fight in this but this true . US would struggle big time. as has been proven.

Something tells me that Favre may have blown his wad in race 1. Maybe he'll do well in Moto2...I guess we'll see.

Euros are racing for world championships. American's are not, hence why you see just a handful of them and not the top guys racing. They follow the money. Not hard to understand I hope.

I'm all in for a good race no matter but at the same time, is it a big deal that Webb got beat? It's it first outdoor race on a 450 and these guys have been racing for the world championship all year. Not hardly enough evidence to answer "us against them".
