They have it figured out, the track will be in primo shape. I think the biggest issue from rain is more about the non-track surfaces at the facility.

30% chance on Saturday? I'd start building the Ark now, because it's about to be all types of biblical there.

Better get there early to avoid parking across the street on the hill. I've watched them slip and slide into other vehicles!

I believe the primary parking will be on the south side of the track. They opened up a huge chunk of land a couple years ago so they shouldn't have to use the land across the street.

Obviously never been there, the weather changes by the minute. Dilla is either a mud fest or hot as f***.

People don’t understand how the weather is there without going there. Due to the landscape of the area, the weather changes constantly and without warning normally!

It gets really wet.

30% from the weatherman in the northeast typically means no rain but is there Incase it does.

It’s in a valley. Sometimes the clouds just get stuck over the place & it rains heavy, but the track can handle a good amount of rain & still be epic if the rain stops. I have witnessed the track go from muddy hell to prime in a very short amount of time if the sun comes out. I don’t think I missed a Unadilla for like 25 years straight starting in the early 80”s. I wish they would bring back the GP race… loved seeing the Euro vs American riders on this track. I heard the bottled water will be 10$ and Coors lite warm cans will be 12.00 each… enjoy….

According to the Weather Channel app they're calling for a mix of sunshine and clouds, 24% chance of rain and a high of 74º. Should be perfect weather for the race!

Also if you're in the area a few days before be sure to check out Moto Mission's night of champions Thursday. Should be a pretty good turnout of local riders and privateers!

I think it was 2016, Marv won the 450 class. I witnessed more rain fall from the sky in a 12 hr period than at any other time in my life. And they ran all 4 motos.

In 2017 it was nice then storms moved in out of nowhere if I remember right. They had to shut it down for a minute because of lightning and shortened the second motos.

Holy crap, that's some serious slop!

If it does rain this year, I hope they don't panic and pull Screw U out like they have in the past.

And as I look at 2018 pictures, rained pretty good that day as well.

I know we have rain coming this weekend but the track looked perfect last night. It was raining this morning around 5AM but didn't last long.

It doesn't look like there is much rain coming but it is not a big deal at Unadilla. I've been going there since 1975 and many of the Trans-AMAs were October rain fests. (By the way thanks to the guy to let me stand under his scaffolding tower when I was a kid!) The only section of the track that I remember them them cutting off was the 'wall'. It was definitely slicker when the grass was high.

Doing the tourist thing and we crossed the Delaware River and stopped in at the Historic Black Bass Inn.

They also have a basement bar that was built in 1740!!! Woohoo

This is the main bar and the front portion is made in France from pewter. The Germans were melting everything for ammunition, so the BURIED it and unearthed when the war was over.

Basement bar

Question I have is I don't have access to a printer. If I purchase tickets on my phone is the ticket/barcode on the phone good enough?

Thanks

At the quad national the first pro motos were a quagmirex by the second motos the track was perfect. They ended up cancelling all sunday racing due to local flooding closing roadways......so the issue might not be the track.
