How does Alessi do this weekend?

I see him around 15th. Better than Aray, Lamay and the LCQ gang, and right around Chizz speed. After a bit of SX time his ceiling is maybe 10th. Mike was never blazing fast and the depth of this class will make it hard for him to even sniff a 10th but if we lose a few more to injuries then it's possible.

Personally I think he should have come back a week earlier for triple crown.. he could have benefited from 3 starts and shorter races

Nothing against him but I don't think he qualifies. It's not like he is an ex multi time champion who could run top ten with a bit of work. SX is a hardcore full time gig.

Agree. His normal spot was what top 15, maybe top 10? He's s been away a few years and it's a deep feild. I say a successful night is making the main.

Holeshot, finishes 12th. He lives on the Florida Georgia border and he’s used to this type of dirt. Plus there is no pressure.

I like mike and I’m sure he is still very fast on a Supercross track but I don’t see him getting into the main.

Osborne was 10 last week, Wilson 11, Plesinger 12, Hill 13 & bowers 14 ...

Agreed. Seems to be a lot of girlfriends on here, instead of realistic conversations. He's not going to magically be better than he was when he raced every weekend.

True, Mike rode 10 events in 2017, he was 15 or higher 6 out of these 10 main events.

In 2016, he rode every main event and only got 3 top 10 (9-10 & 10)

There is no way Mike Alessi comes back after 2 years off the SX track and get a 13 place finish. Thats what he was getting when he was training every day for it.

He’s good enough to get inside the top 10 with this group however his SX skills have likely diminished. He’s in his 16th year as pro. Good for Mike.
