Iv never seen him ride super x, so my guess will be he be around 1 or 2 places around Wilson
I know he had a brief stint before, so hopefully this time he knows what to Exspect
Iv recently lost a bit interest in super x, so hoping he can stay fit/injury free and can kick-start my interest again.
As a brit, I'll be rooting for him, which is hard not to really, as he's also a likeable guy

He definitely is a legit contender outdoors....if he get through SX injury free. Awesome dude he is and can't wait for SX to start.

Im a big Max fan but I also know he is more an outdoor rider
I realistically see him 8-12,hope he stays healthy and finishes the series

I would say 8-12th is pretty optimistic. I can't see him better than around 15th when everyone is healthy. Top 10 finishes might be possible later in the season if he is still healthy and we get the usual amount of injuries.

Max is a top 5 guy outdoors but SX is a whole different animal. Plus that class is stacked & he hasnt raced SX in a long long time. I see him in the 12-16 regularly & if its his night maybe a rare 8-10th

Jumping into SX on a 450 is no joke.
I'd say 10-15 with some top 10s mixed in. Hope he does better than that and stays injury free

It's going to be rough. Not a lot of time between races. Very little practice and opportunity to test and adjust his settings. Things are going to be moving pretty quick for Max.
If he qualifies for all the mains and doesn't get injured, that'll be a good showing.

The best he can hope for is to make all the mains and survive until motocross starts. If he does that, he should be very pleased.

Would love to see him do top 15 every round with the odd top ten. To be honest though, so long as he gets to the outdoors fit and healthy I don’t give a sh!t. Go Max 🇬🇧

Thats a pretty legit spot fir him and maybe break the top 6 here and there. Outdoors there's so much talent. I think he's a top 5 guy and maybe a podium from time to time. I all depends on who makes it through stupid cross healthy

Dude was turning into a title threat on 250s. I'm sure he will do fine. 6-15th will be his high low. If he's having a really good day, cards fall his way a 4th or 5th can happen.

I would be shocked to see him card a 6th place all year. Top 15. Different rider outdoors. Obviously much more of a threat out there

Cracking the top 10 would be an achievement for him. If he plays safe and long term as the field unfortunately depletes he'll get there.

He’s gotten 9th, 15th and 16th overall in 250SX during his 3 seasons.
I hope he finishes year healthy and comes into outdoors swinging!

Max is capable of outstanding rides here and there so it wouldn’t surprise me if he snuck into the Top 10 a couple of times. In general though, I think he’ll just be a solid main event guy around 15th. If he can do that consistently and stay healthy then I think he should be happy with that

Initially, my guess is that he'll struggle and may not even make the main. But..... he's a world class rider, so he'll figure things out, make main events, and maybe even get in the top ten by the season's end as long as he stays healthy. Practicing supercross is one thing, but racing it is another. It's so sketchy and crazy aggressive. He's gonna have to adjust to that. Coming to the U.S. to jump into an insanely stacked 450 class means Anstie has got some balls. I admire it. Having an elite GP mx1 rider in the ama field is cool and makes things more interesting. I really hope he doesnt get hurt, gets it figured out, and does well.

i just hope he will remain healthy to get through the 17 rounds and have some experience on the 450 in SX.
