Wow dude. That's an awesome find. Congrats! I hope to get my hands on a similar 125 sometime in the future.

You got a nice deal either way. Even if you have to put a little dough into replacing the top end (which I would) it is definitely worth it.

Hours don't really matter - with everything you took pictures of that bike is barely broken in. You got a new bike

if the owner says "low hours" or "never been raced", then it's a good indication that it likely has low hours and has probably never been raced. people are really honest and trustworthy these days. especially dirt bikers.

Holy shit man! That's a steal! Good for you, the hitch hauler alone is a $350 item minimum. That bike is clearly low hours & on top of that it wasn't ridden hard or totally mudded out or the stickers & shit that I mentioned before would be long gone from washing it. I'd say you got the best deal I've seen in a while. I'm looking at blown up or close to blown up 125s on craigslist for 1200-1500. Man you got a good find there. That's what I'm waiting on & soon as I find it I'll have another 125 or even 250 for the right price. I'm a little jealous lol jk glad you found something worthwhile after you're never ending vital searcha haha

Completely agree with this. I dont think I've ever seen a 15yr old bike so clean without being a still new in the crate type bike. He got the deal of a lifetime on this at 1500 with the hitch hauler!

Replace the tires immediately. They dry out and lose feel.

Depends on the region of country. Around here most people only ride 3-4 months a year due to snow/weather. I see fresh 2005 - 2008's with under 40hrs on them. If maintained they are a great buy for 2k-3k. Most people who maintain their bikes fully sell them to people they know. They never hit the open market. Also look for the injured rider fire sale with the pissed off wife. I have driven away with trailers full of bikes, parts, gear for pennies.

Bought a used 2003 CR125
I have no idea how many hours
Person I got it from just said very low use by him
And person he got it from said the same to Him
Anyway to tell if certain parts are original ?
I think the front tire is it's a Dunlop K490
Front and rear Brake pads both look brand new condition
The clutch pull is so easy I could do it with my pinky which I love , only parts I see that Arent stock
Is Pipe FMF Rev , handle bars protaper CR Hi
, new air filter and newer rear tire .
Wondering about chain sliders or anything else that might be obvious to look for ?

Bottom of frame is a dead giveaway.
