Am trying to get an idea of how much of our industry would buy/support an e-commerce site in the Military, Fire, First Response, Law Enforcement, Govt. market if they were to support/advertise in ours?

-thank you

Like surplus? Seems like a lot of people like that stuff. When I was a kid I used to love going into this surplus store and finding all the cool old military gear and odds and ends. Now I work for a university where we have weekly surplus sales and people buy the weirdest shit ...I'd imagine it would do alright..

What system are you going to use for your eccomerce site? I work as a web designer/developer for a living and plan to start developing some ecommerce sites for my own personal projects this winter.

What type of products are you talking about selling?

And yes, I'm a firefighter/paramedic for your stats.

DoD here, but I really dont think vital is the proper place to do demographic research.

One of the largest Military, Fire, First Response, Law Enforcement, Govt. e-commerce sites is interested in backing our team in '16. I'm trying to get a pulse on our industry supporting them if they were to come on board. Same research as I've done for BLUE Buffalo which a ton of members here have started buying since coming on board with us.

I would agree that it's not the be-all-end-all of researchSmile but every single one of the positive (some negative) responses regarding BLUE Buffalo gets sent to them on a weekly/monthly basis so they can see what our industry is saying. As irrelevant as you may think you are, this forum is part of the reason we have a BLUE Buffalo/Slater Skins/Herrera Ranch/Yamaha team for '16. We appreciate all the feedback. It's helping us go racing. Thanks.

Why? Pretty sure a company interested in sponsoring a moto team is moto related. Call me crazy.

I can't read....I will say, Blue Buffalo gets my support for being a part of the Moto Industry. It's all I buy.

Can't really relate to the Military/Law Enforcement part of this thread, but I could see a team like that getting a decent following.

Police...I'm gonna guess LA Police Gear? Def more apt to buy from a company that has an interest in our hobby. Like Discount and Blue Buffalo.

Active Army.

Motocross is a small sport, there's probably more effective ways to get to those demographics.

I am an Emergency Room RN. I still don't understand how we don't get included with the whole, Fire/EMS stuff. Sorry, I used to be a firefighter/EMT before I became an RN and that just really bugs me.
