does the track go up into the stands? In that second pic it's hard to see where the track goes at the very bottom of the photo for that turn.

If a rider ends up in the nets, Matthes will immediately begin beating off right there in the press box. Stamp it.

The seats are pushed back in that section to allow more floor space I guess.

No, makes a 180 there. I’ll grab a few more pics shortly. I’ll be back inside

Track looks awesome! I love when they have a long run up to the whoops - shows who isn't afraid to click up a couple gears before the whoops. IF ONLY they had made the whoops go all the way into a 180 bowl turn! Arh, would've been perfect!

I loved watching sx in the Astrodome back in the 70-80’s. Basically a outdoor track indoors.. It was so cool!!

That turn is VERY close to the stands and the way the stands are it is acrtually higher then the front couple of rows. It wouldn’t take much for a bike to land in the stands from that corner. I don’t recall ever seeing a turn like this, this close to stands

Are the nets suppose to be that low? Doesn’t look like they would do much in the event of a whiskey throttle

So many 180s with a flat run into them.

Should make for some great racing.
