What are you seeing for life from boot soles? My 2019 Tech 10's made it about 60 ish hours. It's looking like the boot will be trash by the time it needs its next set of soles.
I was getting around 100 from SG12's, they lasted 3 re-soles before they were junk. I honestly dont care for those boots that much and dont think I'd go back to them.

So I was thinking about maybe trying a set of Crossfore 3's next. Anyone have some good data on those as far as longevity goes? I assume that Tech 7's would have similar life to the 10's?

I've put over 100 hours on my SRS boots and have resoled once. Super easy just unsnap em. They have to be better than Astars they are trash. I don't see why everyone loves them they aren't half the boot quality as a Sidi.

I like the feel of the controls you get with the Astars, that damn price though for how quick they get clapped out hurts.

Millions of hours if I don’t sharpen my pegs, 50 hours if I sharpen them

My g's have well over 100. Still in excellent shape, The white just stains pretty easy - shout laundry cleaner works pretty good if you pressure wash right after you ride.

This is where I’m at. I absolutely love the feel of A-Star 7s; but, I’m very bummed on how quickly the soles wear-out.

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Sidi srs
Probably have 250 hours on them, replace the soles every year, piece of cake

SG12 lasted like 100hrs. I changed them because they were flexing too much

Now riding on TCX
i highly reccommed them, they feel light and are very comfortable. I don’t know how long they will last, but you can buy two pairs for the $ame money of one tech10/sidi/sg12 and combine them best cool

I have a pair of Tech 8's. I love the boots. I think they are the most comfortable boot I have ever had, and I would like to get them re-soled. Where can I have it done?

I'm the same. Every time the soles on my A stars are worn out I go to the shop and try on every other brand and walk out with new A stars, they are just so comfortable

I’ve been using (2) pairs of tech 10s since 2015. I’ve sharpened my pegs and use pro pegs. The soles are worn, but they do not have holes and haven’t been replaced. I’d say probably close to 240 hours between the (2) pairs of boots. Tech 10s are the only boots I will wear.

TCX boots last forever, you'll never need to resole them.

A tip from me is to install the 'enduro' sole on the Crossfire 3's. Better grip and durabilty is incredible over the stock soles.

Be careful with the Sidis, they flex a lot ... You can bend a new one, what you can't do with a Tech 10, SG12 or Instinct ...

I have about 50 hours on my new gen tech 10’s and I feel like they are holding up really well. I run fairly aggressive pegs too. I’m sure mx hours are harder but I mainly race off road so I’m slamming them off rocks and stuff with high regularity.

Another vote for TCX. I’ve got over 150 hours on mine. They look thrashed but all the buckles still work well and they are still stiff enough and the soles are solid.

I have 200+ hours on crossfire twos with two sole replacements. Still in decent shape minus some broken stitching
