Billion dollar company and they couldn't come up with their own design?

It doesn't know if it wants to be a RZR or a Maverick.

Pass.

C'mon, it's not a quad, it's a side-by-side quad. Wink

I got to drive a rzr 1000 for the first time ever last sunday. Let me tell you something, hauling ass at 50mph on a 4 acre property into a 1ft deep muddy corner is probably the most fun ive had all year. Granted it wasnt my rzr and i shredded the belt from holding it wide open for 2 hours straight, it was fun as hell. If anyone has the opportunity they should try one. Theyve got a lot more balls than any quad does. Pretty close to a 450 in terms of acceleration.

I would drive a sxs but I'd rather buy 3 more dirt bikes, or a dozer. They are badass tho

If you have ridden the Africa Twin DCT, you know how well that auto-shift system works (amazing!)

The Talon has the same motor and DCT. It should be really fun to drive.

Unlike the RZR or Maverick it will be quality built and not a POS like the other two. Wink

Look cool. I think they should’ve played off the Odyssey name, maybe Odyssey X2 or something, but I guess that name is reserved for the minivan now.

Lol, I'm sorry but they mad dropped the ball. I'll keep my 200hp Can Am X3. I support moto in every possible way I can but none of the big moto manufacturers are making a competitive SxS to the X3.

The Legend, man those pilots were ahead of their time. I know a guy who bought a couple of those when they came out and he took them onto a track and launched a single to table step down. The image of him cart wheeling that thing about 10 times down that hill will forever be etched into my mind

People complain about the price of dirt bikes, but not scared to drop serious coin on one of these.
The manufacturers know way more than we do.... LaughingLaughingLaughing ... keep complaining.

Low barrier of entry skill-wise, safer, can take the wife/kid/drinking buddy along with you in one vehicle. Most likely preying on custom Jeep part/accessory customers who are accustomed to higher prices more than dirt bike customers.

keep in mind these are the first release, my guess is next year, maybe two, we will see the turbo 72" wide edition with the big HP numbers and then a 4-seat. They have a multi year plan if you watch the intro.

Looks like it has 3 feet of travel in the rear and 2 feet in the front.

BORING. Nothing about these machines separate them from the competition. And WTH is with those half-doors? Did someone in Japan think that was the key to success? As the owner of a RZR 1000 I can tell you that mud comes through the opening and you need to enclose the cockpit immediately. Most ridiculous thing ever.

The Maverick X3 is reliable as hell. My buddies have them and ride every weekend in terrain throughout Utah and they have been pretty much indestructible.

They do not last for shit on the east coast. The SxS boys get a few beers in them, find a mudhole, and break them every weekend.
