Honda CRF 450L Rally edition debuts at the Milan show

Way cool, but I don't see the market for it. The adventure bike thing is popular, but I'm not sure how a little 450 fits in there, and they've already got the X and L models covering off-road/dual-sport segments.

Now, if Honda whipped up a street legal XR650R rally version, I think that would be a sweet setup in the adventure bike market and do well.

The adventure market continues to grow and grow. For those of us interested in this style the Honda 450 Rally is a dream come true. If the sales of the 250 are any indicator and as long as this isn’t a $20,000 motorcycle it will readily sell.
It’s quite common as it is guys putting big bores in 250 frames for a more aggressive dual purpose on a budget.

As it is the middle weight adventure series is seeing a slew of new models coming with the highly anticipated Ténéré 700 Yamaha offering for 2020.

If you love dual purpose it’s getting better and better with the Japanese offerings.
