Anyone heard any news? It was showcased and tested at a track, but since then its been quiet.
Since Alta’s downfall, i havent seen much of the ”big” electric bikes, but the new 50cc electric bikes are going strong.
Does KTM still have their freeride bikes or do they have a bike capable of racing in the pipeline?

Hopefully, the CR-E will be present, and we get some more info on production dates and prices.
And, once again, hopefully, we see other serious efforts from other manufacturers.
Electric mx bike > no mx bike

good luck everyone!
No one wants to be first hand mover, and everybody wants to milk the spare part cash cow as far as they can.
Is all your guys retirement money invested? Do y'all get paid per post?
The literal only place l ever hear anyone discuss e-anything with such forceful positivity is on Vital. I just can't believe real supporters of the sport are this invested in powerwheels.
No one gives a fuck people. Before you need a a legit e-bike, you need a fucking demand from the public for one. There is no demand except for the thirteen people on Vital who act as though their very life depends on a fucking e-bike.
Oh and one more thing, you're not going to any chicks virtue signaling your creds here on Vital. Best just start an IG account. Then you're free to signal away to all the other vapid twats.

My guess is that it will be a while until there is any solid information or projections for any possible production.
KTM seems to be going the route of getting youth on e-bikes now, then let them grow up with them. Their youth model will soon be released, so perhaps an 85cc equivalent (ie, a more competitive version of the Freeride-E) might be a few years behind, followed by full-sized models a few years after that. I think this would allow for technology and performance improvements to develop as the riders age into the larger bikes. All just speculation here, but that's my two cents.
At the moment, the only full-size electric MX bike near any sort of production seems to be the Sur-Ron Storm Bee which is set to make a public debut at EICMA on Nov. 7.
All of the naysayers will whine that it's a Chinese manufacturer with subpar parts and is underpowered, but I don't really care what anyone says. Sur-Ron is making the effort and I want in.
I will always own at least one gas and one electric bike.
There's a rumor Tiga and Mookie might ride one at MEC Saturday...
* you're
Motocross guys are ALL about having the latest trick gear. An electric bike is a new standard for the latest and greatest, and once the "local fastest guy" gets one, the rest will too.
This is fantastic for the manufacturers, it will lead to a surge in sales that this industry hasn't seen for years. I am not a personal fan of electric bikes over gas, but I want to see electric hit the market just to help save the sport.
