Did that damage happen through his goggles or was he racing without goggles? Scary !! Or did he take a rock to the nose?

I had a very similar thing happen to me, at a track not too far from Matterley actually, a long time ago. It’s quite flinty ground down that area. A rock hit my goggle lens and that in turn smashed into my eyebrow. Split it right open. Loads of blood inside my goggles,

I wasn’t man enough to carry on like Seewer though.

I took about a 1 inch rock off the mouth once during a race. Saw it coming and there was nothing I could do. Came off the track looking a lot like you.

I find the one sport comparable to MX as far as playing through injuries is hockey. Some of the injuries you hear about guys having after playoffs just makes you wonder how they can put up with that kind of pain, same goes for MX.
