His blog is a good read.

I'm through something like Day 100 and something. The people he meets....like the day he met the guy dieing of cancer and at the same time a guy whose daughter died at age 13 to cancer, shows up and the three of them sit there and rap.

I think perhaps he echos what a lot of us feel and that is we feel spiritual and want to be conected with our fellow human beings, yet are puzzled by some of the stuff in the bible and do not feel comfortable calling ourselves Christian.
