This is what I use for the most part. I started out with an old 2n but got this about 10 years ago for 2300.00 I have put hundreds of hours on it and have done nothing but a new tire and oil changes.

I had a 1952 TO30 like that for my first track. They suck. No power steering makes them a bytch to drive with a full bucket. No down pressure on the bucket so hard to do faces right. 2WD spins when it's wet. Very basic and dumb PTO will kill you if you get sloppy. Brakes are drum and useless. Downright dangerous on hilly terrain. Never again. You don't ride a 52 Matchless for Supercross do you?

Man that last photo got me. Looks like you have a little elevation there with a sweeping right-left uphill? Damn that's nice.
Actually that's a down hill L R L with a drop away at the bottom.

Mine is a MF 50,, fortunately. it does have power steering and a decent PTO. The drum brakes work but they need upkeep to keep them working The bucket will pickup the front end. the 3 point just picks up but no down pressure other the the weight of whatever is on it.

Wow your track is awesome. Is your buddy on a 500? That thing sounded pretty darn throaty.

I have a back yard/field track in Thailand on about 3 acres. It's pretty rough but I only started it about 8 months ago, it has 4 table tops and a double but it's in desperate need of tilling. The crappy drone pic shows about half of it and the corner pic shows the state of it, mostly grass at the moment. Good fun though, nice to get a 25 minute workout without loading up the truck etc.

Thanks! Have a lot of time in it. The bike is a KTM 250 SX.

I finally got a tiller I had bought all fixed up and operational and starting scratching out a track in one of my fields. Eventually I'll extend the track up into the woods and make some technical trail type sections and use the elevation on my property properly, but for now a turn track is what I've got. It needs some water and riding to break the grass down so ruts can properly form. It's pretty fluffy right now. I'll maintain it with a pull behind disc harrow just used the tiller to bust through the surface. The tiller is almost 7' so it's plenty wide for just a turn track.

I walked the field and kinda planned it out in my head and then just dropped the tiller and started. We bought the property a couple years ago and I just finished building our house so this kind of stuff was on the back burner. There was no riding through this field. It had been severely neglected and was unbelievably rough. It needs a drainage swale revamped which I'll probably do when the rain softens up the soil some. I have a dozer that I'll use for that though. It'll come in handy when I start building an actual track.

Just be extra careful with kids and pull behind attachments. I spent the extra $ on a full cab mainly for safety. I consider the cab better than life insurance on my kids. There's been some bad farm accidents around here over the years. I'd like to avoid it. I'm not trying to be a dick. I really just don't like hearing about those kind of accidents.

Here's the track we did at our house in TN. Wraps around the house and jumps the driveway in 3 spots. Part of our incentive package to get our kid to move from Arizona. I'm not the best photographer, but you get the idea. One triple some rollers and a few other obstacles.
