That was awesome in the presser! Do you think anyone from MXA would even know? They send no one to the races right?

Is there some sort of war of words between the two or is Steve just being a douche?

Isn't he the one always complaining about how the media and sport in general need to be more professional

Yes it is, that is why i think that was just stupid.

Yes that was a bit funny but he has close to zero credibility in the discussion on how "media" behaves in pressconferences after that.

What ever, that is probably not how to make the MX/SX media more professional.

No kidding, i'm all for a good joke, but that was a little disrespectful. Not sure why people give those guys so much crap, I guarantee you everyone that talks crap used to read the mag at one time or another. Yes, they are a little old school, but aren't we all when we hit our 50's?Cool

Oh but Dirt Shark gets all the love. If SM was running with all the Fly Honeys then he would be Da Man.

We are, I am, and I've been a MXA reader forever. That said...I laughed when I heard Mathes say that too!

My money is it being some type of bet, probably with Weege , or someone from one of the teams.

Anyone catch how awkward Dungey acted when Steven was asking his question?

Not only then but a few races ago( not sure which round) I noticed Dungey acting extremely uncomfortable during the press conference, does anyone remember that?

There was some chuckling and head-shaking going on when he did that, but most got that it was intended as humorous.

Daryl Ecklund from MXA was at the race. I'm not sure if he was in the press conference or not.

Yeah, he seems "fidgety" and is constantly playing with the microphone cable too.

I think it's just nerves, and maybe it takes longer for RD to come down from the adrenaline of the race than some. I don't know...

Just a douche move on his part and very unprofessional. He's always gotta get the negative attention then wonders why people don't like him. Hey Steve, you're 41-42(?) years old, time to start acting like it so maybe take a long look in the mirror and start behaving with some class.

The mood in there was weird. It was ultra serious and even Hill said something to me before it started about that. Everyone seemed so serious so I thought I'd try to lighten it up a bit.

And I'm now blocked from MXA on Twitter (not sure when that happened) so I guess this means I'm fired.
