Drove 9.5 hours from AZ to race 15+1s and get my butt kicked. Worth every second of it.

My brother and dad haven't been to a national in years. I think it would be really cool for them to go to Glen Helen this weekend, I unfortunately have other plans and can't go, but if chosen my brother can take his girlfriend and my dad can take his old riding buddy. No harm there.

I won't be there 'till friday. Can you extend the deadline? lol JK...Already have my own tickets.

I'm not sure how those photos are relevant to this thread. Just proves how much I've grown as a person and how much some of you have not. My apologies for wanting to surprise my dad with tickets (if Motosport picks my photo).

Have a good day.

I'm gonna cheat since my boy won't be home from water polo practice until late tonight... These are pics of my son at the WORCS Glen Helen round in 2012... What a great day that was! He was 12 at the time.

I'm finding myself agreeing with Davis here. I was surprised that it was him because his posts have improved tremendously. Welcome back, DD.

I'm actually with you, and he's trying to get fix for his family, which is cool. Hope the scrub pic lives on tho.

Here's another muddy day back in 2006:
This was not a race day, but rather a fundraising ride day to benefit James Marshall- who suffered a spinal cord injury six weeks earlier at the San Diego SX.

It rained a lot the night before this ride day, but fortunately the weather cleared up and there was a solid turn out of folks to support James and his recovery.
Glen Helen is a slippery mess after a rain. Most of the track has a hard base, except for the low area near the scoring tower, which turns into quicksand. There was at least one bike that had to be pulled out of the mud with a tractor on this day.
