I have recently acquired this 1970 CT70H with 4400 miles on it. What do you think its worth? I am looking to resell it and you see prices all over the place. Some even upwards of $5000 on ebay though I am not sure if that is even realistic. The thing runs awesome.

Anyone else who may have an idea, feel free to chime in!

Very nice, and yes prices are all over the place. I would try the ebay route and see where it goes if you are wanting to let her go. Should have seen the pair a fellow Vitard recently purchased for under a grand for both. One had under 300 miles, the other maybe not that many. Shocked

I have a 1974 3 speed with 700 miles on it but she is not for sale. On the CT forums, guys sell these things too cheap in my opinion.

I'll let you know what I end up selling her for.

I have a 71 H. Not nearly as nice as yours. I ride mine all the time, though the H motor is on the shelf. It's got a CT90 motor we had laying around in it right now. A 70 H is probably cream of the CT crop.

Whats it worth though? I love it, but I need to flip it to pay for some moto related expenses. Woohoo

1,500 2,000 if it's nice. 1,200 all day long where I live. To an old fart like me who wants one 2,500 maybe. Get some kind of title for it if possible.

Post up frame number and engine number. They should be around 225 off from each other.

Yes all Candy Emerald Green were H models with the 4 speed clutch. Because of its one year only color its fair rare and sought after.

When the chrome is perfect I think the green looks awesome but all of the candy colors are pretty great.

I have had several H models and still have a candy emerald green CT70H.

Thanks dude! I bought it to make money but seems like the more people I talk to, the more rarer it gets. That, or there are better sales people out there than I!

I meant to hit you up this year when I was traveling around the nationals. Next year perhaps.

What a coincidence...I have these in my garage that I'm going to restore at some point. Hopefully, they will look as nice as JG's when I finish. I've never restored anything and have fair mechanical skills, but I think I can get them done. These were my uncle's. Originally he had them in Colorado then moved them to a ranch in Oklahoma. Both were plated for street use.

This one has the "six pack rack". Mine had it but was damaged in an accident years ago.

If you guys want to turn this into a CT70 love thread, I am definitely down. I cannot believe how sexy that green is!

Makes me really want to keep mine and restore it instead of selling it. One of you needs to buy this thing before I change my mind. Will it make a difference if I tell you that some of the profit is paying some entry fee's for privateers? Because, well, it is!

Yeah man for sure! You make it back out here to the NW , definitely hit me up! This year I was hanging with JW381 , Bronwyn and Steve and Dwayne from Vital. I didn't see much of Steve since he was out doing his thing , but for a miserable weather day , the racing was good , and so were the cold beers at Dwayne's rig! Smile

I may sell my 73 for Christmas money. Some kid or dad would get a nice vintage present. I'm thinking 500$ I'll get it out of the shed and take pics later. Gonna have to get some fresh gas in town and bet it fires up in a few kicks. Been 4-5 years since we've had it out.
