And the wife spoke with her wallet. A proper 4 stroke.

Not a tequila fan, but would enjoy a couple fingers of that over ice bench racing over some of your collection, you know.....take one for the team.

1942 is still better IMHO. Nice SxS though, Newman.

|

8/24/2018 8:12 PM

Are the prices USD or Iranian Rial?

|

8/24/2018 8:21 PM

It doesn’t get any better than 1942...

|

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Love me some 1942. Had a few people freak when I use it for a margarita.laughing

I do love me a good margarita though. Fresh squeezed lime juice, agave nectar, splash of water and a healthy dose of 1942 served up next to some good Tex Mex.

USD with a shot of “at the beach” pricing matrix. This little liquor store has an absolutely amazing selection of everything.

Wow man that’s nothing short of sacrilege. Let’s take some of the world’s finest sipping tequila and see how much we can mask the taste with mixers... Dont get me wrong i love a good scratch marg and always use decent tequila but 42’? Such a waste. Do you use Dom Perignon in your Bellini’s?

|

8/24/2018 10:03 PM

I'm sticking with Coor's Banquet God damn it! The money I save will buy a top end and some fresh tires for the 125!!

|

And there goes Jeffro. One of God's own prototypes. A super high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

On our way to 2015 MXON in France we stopped at local supermarket to get some snacks and drinks. We felt this wine was a bit too expensive to be consumed from a plastic cup. Photo

And another one freaks.smile

Don’t worry, it doesn’t happen “too” often. My quest for the perfect margarita has left me disappointed with some awfully expensive yet not so good drinks.

Give me a good margarita recipe. Thinking about making some this evening

Try making a margarita splashed with a good sparkling water like Pelligrino and use std Don Julio Blanco or Hornitos Plata.

Btw, Hornitos Black Barrel is 1942’s “little brother”...they’re VERY CLOSE on flavor.

8/26/2018 5:32 PM

And, running low at home. Maybe I’ll take Manny’s advice and look into some black barrel Hornitos.

Here’s to another season in the books! Cheers, guys.smile Photo

So Manny. Was that why you were cruising the pits today at Pala? Looking for some 1942?

If you'd only asked!

|

8/26/2018 5:53 PM

The Miami Airport has a few $1k+ bottles of cognac, again though you have the miami airport markup haha.

Luckily it sounds like you actually are enjoying the nice tequila rather than just buying it because its expensive. As a bartender it kills be when someone will order a bulleit and coke or patron and pineapple. Something that nice should be enjoyed on its own. Or a macallan 18 and water.... how can you taste the difference between 12 and 18 once it is watered down.

Is tequila popular in your area or is it just your personal preference. I know lots of liquor is sometimes regional. In the baltimore area we seel stupid amounts of Grand Marnier and Sagamore rye.

Went to Pala and worked on my jumping and wannabe SX combos...so, now it's tequila time as I chill on the patio...

If the bottle looks frotsty(?)...that's because it is. My bottle lives in the freezer until it's gone.

Well, I'm no playboy like some of you but after a day of practicing corner technique, I'm having some tequila time on my patio too. Next is Daddy and Mommy time in the spa after the kids go to bed...
