what did they do with his set up?
From what I heard last night, Stewart kept trying to set up his bike like the Kawasaki, but it wasnt working on the Yamaha. Larry convinced Stewart to go with their set up and it seemed to have worked better this round.
This is the first time Stewart started doing things that no other rider was doing, so I know he is getting comfortable and the bike is starting to work better for him.

Thanks, makes sense. From what I heard JS and RV were the only ones doing the quad and Reed wasn't, anyone what to chime in?

Stewart looked good on the bike, he was doing one section I didn't see anyone else doing. He basically took the "whoop" equation out and just jumped it all, but not every lap. When he did plow through it, the bike bucked and looked like crap again. I wouldn't get all excited about anything. There were no whoop sections to test how the suspension was really working.

The other thing was the dirt at Houston was pretty primo - lots of traction. James' bike problems before now have looked more like turning than suspension - he's been going slower in the corners so he couldn't do the rhythms and whoops like normal. Last night he had some dirt to work with and he was pitching the bike into corners like normal, and he was back to his old self. But I don't know if that means he'll be back to his old self on hard dirt, too.

There were a number of guys doing the quad. 2,7,9,29,33...they were going outside in the turn before and going 2 3 4. Chad was going inside roll 2 3 3. In the main james started to jump the whole dragon back set of whoops. It was fast, windham and boni were the only 2 other riders I seen do it all night.

He won the race...and the two previous races...and was leading A1...he has his set-up dialed and....has Reed covered.

Series is done.

Give him his money and lets go race the nationals.

That's the section I'm talking about. I missed those two doing it.

Not Last week, rracer. Not last week. A start would have = a win for Reed.

james just said that he would have run that pace if he had to last week, he just didnt need to and he didnt feel good on the bike. I will take James word for it...and history backs it up.

Woulda coulda shoulda isn't going to get it done for Chad. He needs a solid win, and he needs it quick.

with all the flat corners and that flat S section you would think it favored the suzuki, since it's the best turning bike out there.

BTW, the supposedly poor turning Yamaha, sure looked good when James turned underneath RV on the pass for the lead

Why aren't the fools saying James is in his head like they do with Dungey/Jlaw?
