Davey,
Can Speed or whoever does the rider positioning counter/ticker tape across screen on TV improve it, as it's unreadable in it's present format.
I know they have tried to use different colours around riders names to show bike brands, but there's not enough contrast between colour & name to read it easily.
Not sure if it's a quality of signal drop out on Motors TV here in Europe, but wondered if any other viewers were having same problem reading names?

Hope it's an easy fix?
Rob

Weird. I have perfect vision and I can't read that shit on my TV.

Can't see it with my tv. If it was HD maybe. It's not just SPEED, it doesn't show up on FUEL either.

How about showing the leader of the race before having all the cameras look for where Reed, Dungey and RV are on the track and why they got a shitty start. Follow the leader for the first lap! Sheesh

I agree, pretty tough to read. The SX ticker was fine though.

Maybe you guys need to be tested for color blindness.

used to be hard to read for me before, even for MotoGP, AMA SBK, F1 until my 9 y-o said "we need a new TV, I can't see the names very well".

Since I got the new HD baby, all perfect and good.

Everything is fine, don't complain, you're lucky to have a television.

The speed and visibility are fine but I think theres needs to be more segments where the transponder signal is read. Seems like the positions are off badly every lap. It almost seemed like that ticker was only updated at the finish.

MotorsTV fuckes every signal up... I watch every Grand Prix on MotorsTV and the quality was so bad I was blaming Youthstream (DUH)... Now I watching the MX1 Grand Prix on ExqiSport (some Belgian Channel) and the quality isn't good (DUH and now I'm blaming YS for the right reasons) but it is better then on MotorsTV...

It is ridiculous that the quality of a Broadcast on the Internet is better then the one on a Television channel... But my point is, I don't think it is DC his fault but that it is MotorsTV his fault so, robkinuk and Rudicross and all viewers of MotorsTV maybe need to send a friendly letter to ask if they can fix something on there quality of the signal...

But I don't gonna wine because I'm happy I don't need to pay for Mx-life (:read to Youthstream and GL) and I can watch live Grand Prix's and Nationals on MotorsTV!!

Don't cry baby... At the GP's the positions are 3 rounds behind... Don't know why but that sucks so hard and you never know why you rider is! And then that bad coverage. But I don't gonna be angry today... sideways whistling

The only one that really needs fixing is the white on yellow for Suzuki. Easy solution. Make it black on yellow.

Not complaining, its called constructive criticism, champ. I think the rest of the broadcast is great, and I could care less about the ticker during the first motos since live timing is available.

I can't read them either, but Fuel is not broadcast in HD in my area (Uverse), so I just attribute it to that.
