He's Gotta Get the Monkey off his back!

I don't think Dungey was burnt out. His last injury along with Roczen's arm just put life in perspective for him. He came back with a different view, got another SX title and called it a career. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. He had already accomplished pretty much everything there was to accomplish in the sport. Chasing records isn't for everyone. He was ready to retire before his last contract extension with KTM.

All those riders retired before 30 years of age with multi-million dollar bank accounts and don't have to worry about much for the rest of their lives and not to mention, they can now have all the fun they want without worrying about performing at the races.

Worth it in my opinion.
