Would have been a great opportunity for team USA to get a taste of competition in the sand,

He still would’ve won by 30 seconds.

Apart from Coldenhoff, who do you think would’ve been within 30 seconds of him?

Bet he was not? Every next moto Jeffrey want to win with a bigger gap. Look at the results. Thats how he always pushed himself.

I think Jasikonis with a good start would have been inside 30seconds.

Dewulf finished 2nd every race.

Anstie dropped Dewulf by 1.5-1.75 minutes at Lommel in both races this year.

Perhaps plenty of GP riders would've been within 30 seconds of Herlings here.

We'll never know!

Can't wait to see how Maxime Renaux will do. Haven't followed him much this year but he was the aggressive type when I last saw him in the sand.

I was at Valkenswaard and Lommel and was impressed with him at both. I’m sure a lot of people will disagree but I don’t think that Vialle to Renaux is that big a drop in the sand. The killer for France is losing Febvre

Agree,
He also had his best EMX result last year at Lommel I believe.

In general the step he made from last year to this year was huge. A couple of years ago he seems like the next big thing when he battled with Prado for the 125 title. Then not so much anymore. Great to see that he's turning it around now.

He’s had a very good year. I don’t think many people would’ve predicted him to finish 7th in points and get a podium this year, and to be fair, he could have a couple more podiums. As you say, it’s good to see him get back on track, it looked like he might be another one of those guys who lost their way in EMX250 and struggled, but he’s turned to round nicely

If he laps the field twice does he score negative points for team NLD?

I have no idea without seeing them all race in the same conditions, facts are he didnt have massive competition in the race

The fastest motocross racer on the planet who many say is the fastest sand rider to ever live won a sand race? The title should have been what position he lapped up to. At least that isn't a forgone conclusion.
