Just watched Monticelli his gopro.. everything going so fast and in those ruts, absolutely nothing he could do imo. No time to check up. Herlings was on his rear wheel up until the final roller so was full speed until there. Monticelli had a good drive and was already committed. Racing incident

Race win with a broken shoulderblade, what an absolute fucking machine.

You could tell he was riding with blood in his eyes, nothing else mattered but first place.

On an unrelated note, anyone else think track in Oss was WAY more fun to watch than Valkenswaard?

But most pilots liked Valkenswaard way better.

Yep. He did what 2/3 guys in front of him did(besides herlings). I know herlings is frustrated but it was just a racing incident.

Oss is great because it's got a bit of elevation and is twisty but you can't beat the deep sand, ruts & holes of Valkenswaard. I'd watch either all day long!

Quite a few riders didn't enjoy the twisty part that much, and felt the track was narrow and the soil "weird"...

Should just ban technology altogether.

Are you blind? At the same spot where Hoff landed (blue line) Monticelli was still like 10 feet in the ai

So now we are reprimanding riders for outjumping everyone else? Jeff floundered at takeoff and Monticelli sent it. Shit happens.

I know this ain't gonna be popular.... but why a holeshot device? What is the point? If everyone has it, there's no advantage. Let's delete them, show your skill, rather than this trick. Show bike control without the gimmick.
We've seen a few fail in past times, I remember Cairoli had it lock up mid-race... it just hooked up. He had to stop, lay the bike on the ground and kick it off. Ready for your abuse, go!
Oultlaw the damn things.
