Because he won a moto today? Come on, man. I really believe Forkner is going to be a future champion. But to say he may beat Herlings, at this point in time, is far fetched. I would love to see it happen, but it won't.

No, I think the real story is DiFrancesco vs Herlings.

A long way off. But will be interesting to see how it all pans out. Herlings seriously needs to learn how to keep it on 2 wheels in the 450 class.

He needs to learn how to keep it on two wheels in the 250 class too. He's what, 2 for 7 or something in championships?

No, because at the lately he appears to be able to get up the front sooner than Webb.

As in previous threads i beleive Herlings will whip their arses, although i believe Forkner will be the threat rather than Webb.

I haven't seen much of Herlings racing but have heard time and time again how he is the fastest, especially in the sand and nobody can touch him, in mxgp or America when he's healthy but that seems difficult for him. Well I will be watching Charolette probably in person and Glen Helen closely to see how he does race. If he is the fastest man on the planet I hope he stops crashing and getting hurt, hope he can make the transition to the 450s without major issues and I hope if he gets a mxgp championship soon then he will race the ama outdoors and possibly SX. I can dream.

You know something, if they have to shorten the motos to 20 minutes I'd say this scenario is real, but without that no way. Forkner has the potential to dominate but Herlings has been doing it for 7 years. People speculate on how much Roczen has left in the tank, imagine how much JH has.

What about heat and/or humidity? People seem to be overlooking how hot it might be at GH

Less laughable than the JS7 threads.

You guys are blind, Forkner has shown lots of early moto speed late in this season, no he wont win, but he will be the only one to battle Herlings early on, Webb will never get up to battle after Herlings clear out.

Webb can't start consistently. If webb has his usual start, he'll never catch Herlings.
Forkner starts well, but can't run Herlings pace for a full moto.

Forkner won't spend 13 years in the 250 class, so it's gonna be hard to compare them

I was fortunate enough to see JH at Lommel, and sweet mother of god, there was nobody even close, in either class. The things that kid does on the bike are incredible and don't come across on TV.

If he's healthy you're in for a show.... he's something else.

If by lately you mean today. Then yes.

If by sooner you mean pulling the holeshot and being at the front immediately (today). Then yes.

Forkner is fast and will get faster. However you're talking like this has been going on for half of the season. Huh
