Hybrid track ? I wouldn't bet against him . Hell Coldenhoff should give it a shot also.
Herlings looked he wanted season to be over after race. Better take time off and come strong 2019 for MXGP that is his job and pays more than million in month.
Still pretty supercross-y, would bet it would probably end like Gajser. Someone like Herlings a million isn't even worth the risk
Really takes away from the prestige of Supercross thinking how much faster some of the Euros would be if they rode it most of the year.
I'm sure he watched Gasjer weed it at MEC and knows he doesn't have the suspension setup to handle a rythym section.

Edited Date/Time:
He'd have to pay US taxes if he won, not worth his time to net 450K and then get killed again on the Dollar to Euro exchange rate...
Imagine the heads exploding around here when he won the Million in a three moto sweep! B b b but it wasn’t a real SX!
Wouldn’t it suck if Herlings found out he was better at SX than MX?
As cocky as herlings is on insta and podium interviews he aught to put up or shut up if he thinks hes really the FMOTP.
The GP riders focus on MX throughout the year really shines through at this event! We’ll get that trophy back again one of these years, and these beat downs are going to make it that much more special!
On another note, for ALL ?? to feel a Lil better maybe??,
let’s have some of theirs
stay & Race MEC.
Difference is. The euros dont claim to be the fastest supercross riders in the world. They know their limitations for the most part and stay in their lane. No reason to try race a one of SX with zero preparation 2 weeks after their main goal for the year is complete.
The US would win a SX des nations event going away, no denying that. But at the MXdN on the other hand the US is just another team with the chance to win it, not a certainty like they used to be.

I'm sure he saw Tomac and Bogle ''weed it" at the same event, too.
Remember how well it went for those two, last year? Two riders with a fair few SXs / MECs under their belts.
The blokes paid millions for what he does, already.
Next thing you blokes will 'require' of GP riders, is them to do Straight Rhythm. Hell, the way peoples attention spans are going, that sort of thing might end up displacing SX, just like SX has displaced Outdoors in importance to many.
No whoops but the MEC always has at least one gnarly rhythm section. He's capable, not his wheelhouse though and it's not like he's a pauper.
Cheers, Crush

I think he'd do well. He's good at absorbing jumps, and he's really good on flat corners
James = #7. Malcolm = #27

Stewart return confirmed!

I think he'd do well also . I think he'd win at least one of the motos.
