Shapes up to be epic season. Looks like Gajser has improved sand riding just as much as Herlings hardpack riding.

Yeah looks like it will be a 2 horse race.
Hopefully Prado can get up there soon and get some wins

Those 2 put each other in a other zone right now. Cairoli is already 26 points down and Prado 47. Thats allot after only 2 races...

Its a long season and things can change fast..

I wonder If Honda rushes that bike through Homologation so Kenny and Sexton can ride it this summer? Seems like a solid platform

Looks like a different herlings this year.... One trying to keep it on two wheels instead of winning by 40 seconds.... Gajser has a long season ahead....

Well he did gap third place by 1:35 min and lapped 5th place. I don't think he had that much more to give. More than gajser probably, but I guess they were both pretty close to their limits

Herlings hasn’t looked close to his limit once this year. Don’t know his plan but he is probably going to win a lot of races with 2-1 kind of scores and wait for Gajser to get loose

Gajser had a strong first Moto, especially having to start on the outside then getting in the top three to four positions at the first corner. Second Moto start was the same but I'm not sure why he seemed to be in following mode and at 80%. Will be a great year for sure!

Jasikonis has been at our country house swimming in a pond. He wasn`t that tall back then, lol. His dad put in insane amounts of money and time to get that kid where he is.

In 2018 it looked like he met his match in a very good and fit Cairoli , didnt turn out to be that good at the end
hope Gajser can hang on and stay competitive like in the first 2 GP's , bummer Prado and Cairoli got injured pre season as i think Prado is going to be the next big hitter in MXGP and the one to beat in future

so Gajser wont win if Herlings is healthy?? thats a big call to make so early in the season, seems to me both are equally fast, for Gajser to straight up beat Herlings in the first moto from the worst gate on Herling's home track, should say something.

The passes on Prado and Herlings on the outside first Moto shows Tim’s intentions
Going to be a good year hope everyone stays healthy
Shout out to the dedicated fans 👊🏻

I think Herlings is playing it safe 2 overalls from 2 races, he's playing the long game...

The american Tomac would blow by both of them so fast their pudding bowl haircuts would be blowing forward.

Wait, so gasjer crashes in the 2nd Moto, but somehow Herlings has met his match???

Gasjer may be made of rubber, but there is no way he can keep crashing all season trying to run Herlings pace and not have a “big one”.

I haven't watched the highlights from Valkenswaard yet, but Herlings said last week that he's in it for the long haul. He said he doesn't feel like he needs to go out and win every moto.
