"But GP riders only do 20 rounds".

Okay lets be a bit more serious, that is poetry in motion.

His technique is just flawless, watching him ride is really poetry. Just look at how he jumps through every bump and in the corners... He just may be one of the most talented riders to throw a leg over a dirtbike... He never fails to amaze me !

That long right hand corner. Jeez.. Hes defying gravity haha. Insane!

Its so effortless and he saves so much energy doing things like that. Thats why he has the energy to put down the fastest lap of the race on the last lap. Everyone else is spent by going into every single bump.

Herlings was on fire ..lapping 4 to 5 sec a lap faster ... lapped up to 5th rider both moto's , gapped Anstie and Paulin,Coldenhoff and Seewer both moto's at 1 minute and about 25 sec ... looks like he is still improving

In my mx lifetime there was MC who was next level. Then there was Stew who bumped it another notch. Not taking away from RC he was the best “racer” but besides training he didn’t do anything to change the sport besides kick its ass. Herlings is the next level of speed tho since RC and Stew. I can’t put my finger on what makes him so much better, but he can rail a corner and ride sand like an alien. He is special.

Stuff like that right there in this video is one of the reasons he is damn near unbeatable as he always finds places on every track to either jump tnru or something else no one is doing and lap after lap it starts to gap the hell out of the rest of the field!! He’s gonna be hell at red budd for sure!!

Unreal and grateful to watch this guy growing up from a huge talent on 85cc to being where he is now. I don't think we will ever see such a great (outdoor) rider ever again

Herlings is a great rider on any track.

But on gnarly sand tracks he turns into some god-like creature that makes every other dirtbike racer look slow, old and sad.

Bam Bam needs to listen to that video, JH is a fucking aficionado at keeping the engine in the meatiest part of the power.

Sure looks great on a sand track... but would he look so good on some midwest American soil... like maybe Ohio or Indiana kind of dirt??? OK, bad example Smile

Beside, I couldn't understand a single word he was saying.

Good point, he’s never had experience racing on different tracks considering the GPs really only travel worldwide?

This guy can without a doubt go to any track period and dominate as he's one of those very rare riders that only come around every so often and I'm sure many will see that come red budd this year at des nations as he will have no problem getting adjusted to that track and will be destroying anyone that lines up in his races imo!! Been watching him for years now and this year he looks twice as fast as last year and think we all saw what he could do at ironman with borrowed bike and exactly two hours on it!! I'm pulling for any American that lines up and tomacs my favorite rider period but would not bet against herrlings as yes he's that damn fast!!

Does he ever take his feet off the pegs? He's flying through that track.
