What are you saying ?
Is it confirmed its collarbone that's broken?
Props to the commentator though. "He pulled a Tomac". yes, yes he did.
Video of the crash that resulted in a broken collarbone for Jeffrey Herlings in Germany. bit.ly/1Isj4tJ
Pit Row
Now he only has a 100 point lead...
With that start I'll go out on a limb here & say that Herlings may of won the moto if he decided not scrub on that lap...
Gnarly.
I think it is about time that something be done to make MX racing a little less hazardous so that injury rate is reduced and we get to watch the top riders last a full season and do battle with each other. I don't have a specific recommendation. It doesn't have to be pussification of the tracks but perhaps more grooming to get rid of kickers and crossed ruts between motos. I am all for this. Also, we can still have big, cool jumps, but separating each of the technical sections give riders a chance to recover if they get out of shape before running into the next obstacle. Like F1 and Nascar where the cars were getting too fast, perhaps the power levels could come down a little and racing will still be just as exciting, but riders will have that extra millisecond to react. Just a little less power maybe. These would be very modest changes and racing will be just as exciting as ever with our top riders doing battle with only the occasional injury like we used to see 20 years ago.
