The points between the top three in MXGP MX1 is so close it's unreal. The intensity and urgency is increasing every round. The fastest rider seems to be different from one moto to the next (with Herlings probably being the fastest the most often...but with slightly higher odds of crashing).
Then, there's Sewer, Prado, Coldenhoff, and Cairoli, who can win or mix it up with the top three in points on any given day.
The racing is really good in mxgp right now. I am watching every race and keeping up with it more than at any time since RV lined up with them in 2015.
If i had a farm and had to bet it on who would wind up the 2021 mxgp mx1 champion, I think i would go with Herlings. That's just based on the fact that he has a slight edge in speed over the other two on average. I do think he is slightly more likely to crash at any given time than the other two though, so that is a nervous bet. Nevertheless, my farm would be on Herlings if i had a farm and was forced at gunpoint to bet it. Who would you bet your farm on and why?

2. It's 2 rounds on a sandy track
3. He has two world class teammates and 6/10 bikes in the top 10 are KTM Group. Febvre and Gajser are on their own

I am just so stoked with the season its been great, i dont even care who wins, Im more of a 243 guy but even if Febre took it that would be cool.
Last time Herlings won a title in 2018 i’ve lost my dad in december that year, and he was the one that got me into This amazing sport! And when i Watch This amazing racing i can’t stop thinking about what he would have said about it and how much he would enjoyed it, That’s why i almost started crying after the race today because i know how much he would enjoy it❤️
I'd love to see 243 bag another though. He is my guy.

I gotta say Herlings has got this. But I hope that last race win gave Tim the boost he needed and he can do the business and win the last rounds and the title again !
Herlings has a very big problem with him crashing.
But as said before- they all deserve the title- its so intresting to watch- great time beeing a motocross fan
