Not a fan of the blue seat, seeing as nothing else on the bike is blue, otherwise looks pretty clean

Is the suspension travel shortened or is it some sort of optical illusion? Something looks odd.

Karls swingarms are works of art, just a damn shame I had to throw that sweet chain guide he made for mine in the scrap pile and make my own with a jigsaw and a belt sander. At least I have a Bosch jigsaw....lol

As is the tank.

I think the color may be a bit of a white balance issue with the file. There's a wicked color cast overall

Curious what the issue is with the blue seat. Doesn't look that far off from the TLD blue/red color scheme.

I don't like the look, my eyes think I'm looking at 3 different brands of bike.

wouldn't stop me from riding the wheels off it though.

And it definitely looks to have been lowered.

I think all the gold is effing it up. But then I've never cared for gold on dirt bikes, especially rims.

I may be wrong but that looks like '03/'04 frame and plastics, gen. 2 or 3? Not sure of proper generation classification but whatever it is, that particular era looks a little "fat" or "thick", for lack of a better term, in the frame spar and shroud area. The '05-'08's, whatever generation those are, look a little "slimmer" to me. Having said all that, I think the spar area and shrouds on this bike give it the illusion of being lowered. The rear tire looks to be about right in relation to the bottom of the side number plate. I could be wrong though but that's my opinion and I know what they say about opinions! What I do know for sure is that swingarm is sweet! I have a 500 in an '06 frame and one of those KLP coke bottle swingarms is definately on my must-have list for the future. I would also like to know where this owner got his "Honda Racing" / HRC looking clutch cover and if there is a matching ignition cover on the left side. Color wise, I think the bike would look better with a red rear fender. He's got the '80s look going on with 3/4 of the bike (gold rims, coke bottle swingarm, blue seat, red plastics, etc) but that white rear fender sticks out like a sore thumb. Again, just my opinion...and yes I realize no one asked for it. Oh yea, nice aluminum tank too!

I wouldnt mind the blue seat so much if there were blue on the rest of the bike, in the graphics or something. Thats the difference from the TLD bikes to the five hundo there. Everything else looks fine to me. the gold and yellow is a good offset of the red, but the blue just throws me off.

There's a guy in England selling the clutch and ignition covers on EBay. You may have to go to the UK Ebay site.

Agree that a red fender on the rear would look a bit more coherent, or go all white like Scottie mentioned.

Yellow is the traditional open class color background from the GP days.
