My dad still has his original 1970 Bell super magnum. After 50 years the interior of his helmet has completely disintegrated. For Father’s Day I would like to have it refurbished for him. My question is there any company that dose this kinda thing? I know it will not be dot approved anymore, but he loves this helmet and it would mean the world to me to have this done for him. Thanks

Him racing the Denver 100 in 1977. He had crashed and broke the bill off, and popped his goggles lenses out.

Maybe an auto upholstery shop? I doubt you will find a business that specifically does helmets as there isn't much demand to restore a disposable item.

Your best bet is to graft the inner parts of a similar helmet. Find a similar style open face and size and use that. It will not be the easiest thing to do but you can do well enough to obtain the desired appearance.
No manufacture would do this due to issues with safety. The shell would also be degraded and a manufacture would be concerned about that helmet actually being used. Obviously it would be a massive liability to them.
