So I posted this same question on thumpertalk, but I want to see if opinions differ from one forum to another,

need some help deciding which helmet to buy. I need to buy from inside Europe from a place that ships to Portugal.Max budget is 230 euros.

For now this is what I think are my best options:

-Bell MX-9 Mips, €161.99
-Fox V2 Preme, €174.95
-LS2 MX470 LS2 Subverter, €179.95 (recommended at TT)
-Airoh Terminator Open Vision, €189.99
-Troy Lee Designs SE4 Polyacrylite, €197.95
-Fly F2 Carbon NO MIPS, €210.95
-Just1 J12 Carbon Chupacabra, €213.90
-2019 Fly F2 Carbon with MIPS, €224.95

Which of these would be the best helmet to get ?
I was thinking maybe the TLD or the Fly f2.
I am also open to other suggestions

The intended use is for weekend casual woods riding.

The mx-9, f2 w/mips, or the se4. Cant really go wrong with those 3. Id probably go with the f2 with mips out of the 3. I dont like spending less than $200 on a helmet.

We just bought a MX-9 (mine) and SE4 (son) from RockyMountain. Both feel great. I can't say anymore until I crash on my head, which I don't wanna do. We're upgrading from HJC's.

Okay... one thing I'll say... I have a plated collarbone and the edge of the Fox will hit the plate if I turn my head to the right. First time I did that, I yelped out loud. Sold it, got the HJC which has been a comfortable helmet, but is primitive technology. The Bell doesn't hit my collarbone.

I recently crash tested a troy lee with mips. i hit so hard my head bruised jaw wouldnt open . It saved my brain . No doubt.

Thanks everyone for the input.
The TLD and the Fly F2 are definitely my favourites design wise.
Also love those crazy graphics on the Just1, but it is so light, I ask myself if it isn't compromising in the safety department compared to the other helmets that have mips.

Hey again,
So I was almost decided on the 2019 fly f2, until I found a 2018 fox v3 for 246 euros.
It goes over my budget a bit but would it be worth it compared to the f2 ?
