I honestly think it's the worst looking machine I've ever seen... I'm sorry but I will never buy one if they stick with that design. They could have completely reinvented the way dirt bikes look, no tank, no radiators, no filter just a blank canvas and they created this monstrosity? No thanks.

Interesting.....
Its gonna take some serious testing before I'm ever gonna be sold on batteries over internal combustion. Not saying it won't get there, but theres def work to do. And I happen to agree with VX, def not my cup of tea in the style department.....and theres few things I love more than sitting in the shop staring at my bikes.

I'd love to try out a Cannondale. Sad they didn't/couldn't stick with it.
An oldtimer buddy bought one of the first ones. What I remember from the few laps I did was it had a ton of engine braking and the motor sounded like someone threw a coffee can full of nuts and bolts into a dryer.

Oh yeah? HAVE YOU rode one? I did.
Level 1 is slow, level 2 is actually pretty good. Level 3 is fast, off the bottom. Level 4 is stupid and near unrideable off the bottom.

On level 3, which is a good race mode, an A rider riding full speed the battery lasts 15-20 minutes. Period. Then it went into a error mode, blinking a code. Alta had to come and replace the battery, and the next battery lasted another 2 weeks. Same code.
Real nice for 15,000$.

You wanna call me out some more? Smells like someone doesn't know shit.

Well I admit it has seemed like there's been a wave of people pushing reviews on these lately. Seems like everywhere I turn I'm being told Alta is gonna be taking over. Does seem a bit fishy that they're being sold as hard as they are from all angles and so many reviews are just raving....they might be "that good"....but like any of these new waves, I'm gonna let the dust settle a bit before drawing any conclusions..

Raced ATKs for a few seasons. Decent bikes for off-road racing. Disabled and never see a E bike.

Haha yeah can't say I've heard many good things about them. I'd still like to spin a few laps on one just to try it myself. Good or bad, the Cannondale is a part of moto history.

Maybe a wind mill and a solar panel can help you with that. If your battery lasts long enough

Epic!

After 3-4 hours in the garage last night til past midnight sweating, cursing, trying to get good light to see in tiny spaces where only my left hand can reach and cramping up etc. I would not miss "Zen and the Art of Motocycle Maintenance". All of this for an oil change and fresh spark plug. Please help me get more seat time and less garage time, electric bikes have more advantages than many realize. What is it worth having time in your life for other things and less aggravation?
I'm with you, I despise doing air filters. No matter what, I'm gonna get sticky.
And I'm not a fan of staying up late to finish getting the bike ready for race weekend. Was fun when I was 16. I'm not 16 anymore Sad

Going back farther than I care to remember, I was national sales and marketing manager for ATK back in 1986-87. Besides the 604 4-stroke we introduced a 250 and 400 2-stroke. The big rotax 4-stroke got me hooked on thumpers.

Yep . And also on ATKs . I think the only American made parts are the frame and swingarm.

almost...ATK used Talon hubs (and other US suppliers for wheel parts),and the countershaft brake (Girling caliper) set-up, the exhaust system, some of the triple clamps, and the plastics we're made by ATK or commissioned in the US.

ATK was an underrated brand. They really are good motorcycles in a lot of ways. Horst Leitner is a legend.
