Hey ya’ll! Any idea if you can fit a full size bike in a 12 passenger E350? Super clean rig. Maybe almost too clean! Anyway just trying to decide if I leave that second row of captains chairs in for my kids if I can still get a wall and bikes in the back? I’ve searched around but can’t seem to find anything specific on that model... picture of the creeper is attached for reference. Photo

Find a extended one. As the owner of a shorty, I'll always have a van to haul the bikes but never again will I be a short one.

I know in the extended version, you can put a wall just behind the side door, have 7' to fit bikes in the back, and a bench seat between the wall and captain chairs. The stubby I believe the wall has to come up into the side-door opening and the bench seat basically fills up the room between the front captain chairs and the wall. At least the ones I've seen. I can vouch for the extended version, I have one.

This is the best you will get with a regular length van. The extended is harder to find, and generally cost a little bit more, but it’s worth it in my opinion. Photo

I moto'd out of an 02 E350 extended for YEARS. LOVED that van! Should have never sold it!!! 194k miles on the V-10. Ran strong, super comfy, huge gas tank, room for 2 bikes, gear, gas, tools, 55 gallon barrel of water, and cooler. We would road trip that thing all over to the races! Now I have a Dodge diesel truck with massive toy hauler. Which is nice for the amenities at the races. The wife and kids enjoy it a lot more anyway but I sure do miss the simplicity of the van back in the day. If you want to moto and travel you won't regret it. Promise!

I have a club wagon (basically the same as the E-150) with 2nd row captain's chairs. I made a wheel chalk that sits up against the base of the 2nd row captain chairs and yes a bike will fit, but just barely. I don't think it would fit if you moto-van it out and put up a wall behind the captain's chairs unless you plan on putting the bike in at an angle.

Also my Ford will not fit in my garage, due to the height, a Chevy van will.

Awesome. Appreciate the insight fellas. AB I did see your post. Very inspiring. I like the cleanliness of this van. Price is right. I love the captains chairs for my kids (anyone that has kids knows the importance of that space...). I just need it to have the proper space. I’m sure it all depends on how you load them and what you’re bringing along. Wish I could justify a sprinter but this hobby is expensive enough according to the boss!

I had a 2000 e350 extended with the 7.3 powerstroke. I LOVED IT. plenty of power (had it juiced up some tongue) and decent amount of rooms. I could fit 3 bikes, with gear in the back if stacked right. And still haul 5 people comfortably.

Now i have a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 LWB. MAN IS IT PERFECT!!!! plenty of room for bikes, gear and people plus way better fuel mileage. But i also got a killer deal on it. Tell the boss it will be worth it in the long run due to the fuel savings, and extra room so she will be comfy and so will the kids!
