So, if in order for Chad to sign a second rider he has to get more sponsorship dollars how is that meeting going to go with Discount Tire?

Do major sponsors have riders they will fork over more cash for and those they will not? Wasnt that the problem a couple years ago when Townley was supposed to fill in for Chad in the Nationals? Townely, a former world champ, the sponsors accepted. Somebody like Weston Peick at the time they would not? Or am I remembering that wrong?

Sorry for all the question marks

...whomever foots the bill for that endeavor is a big risk taker.

Did Hansen suddenly find his maturity, work ethic, and sense of personal responsibility in his pants pocket or something?

Somebody should have told that kid to grow the hell up and use all that natural talent so he could have a future. If I were his dad he would have been in for a long talk/ass kicking years ago.

I'd guess whatever money he made in the past is long gone, and now he is looking to race just to make some cash. If I were him I would get to training myself like Rocky Balboa, and show up at any race he can and just keep pounding away.

He'd have to do just what Peick did and work his way back up before a person with any sense hired him to race supercross.

EDIT - I just watched his video below, and since we are on the subject of ADD/ADHD, he sure seems to have trouble focusing...

Stick a fork in him, he's done. He may be able to squeak one out in the 250's, but couldn't hold a candle to the 450 guys.
I'm pretty sure the only team that 'might' take a look at him would be MCR, because they like all the drama and BS that will go with him.
Unfortunately, Hanny was a complete waste of talent.

This is where I disagree. A guy who's a contender , 450. Or 250 will get a good ride. Wins in either class are hard to come by.

He's going to have to wait for the monster energy cup to try to prove himself because we all know he wouldn't dare try to race a national.

I hope he does well. You can say what you want about what gets reported about him but everyone I know who has ever met him has UNANIMOUSLY said the kid has a huge heart and is a good dude. And I'm not talking about people who met him at a race in an autograph line. I'm talking about people who have worked directly with him.

It would be great to see him comeback, but I seriously doubt it will happen.

This is the truth, period. All you guys going off about wasted talent and his image, well you're obviously entitled to your opinion about those things, but unless you have first-hand experience with the kid, let all the anti-Hansen bandwagon crap go.

Seems like it's just the cool thing around here to badmouth anybody other than the elite few, and even then it doesn't stop. Everyone was all over Peick like he was the American Hero, then he makes one comment about "spodes" and he's an ass now too. Fickle, FICKLE, bunch around here......

Bash or kiss ass, no happy medium lol. bashing is as bad as nuthugging imo. unless you know these guys on a personal level, dont judge or defend their actions, wgaf, unless your a family member or on their payroll, pretty sure they dont care about you and me and our problems, bills, work etc.

I wonder if Josh has his Colorado red card(Medical marijuana) or a California card and if the fun would allow for a TUE for one?
