I was surprised that he got cheated out of that money... and he’s still paying off the million-dollar scam! Crazy.

The part about JGR doing middle of the night bunk check and making him go running in the snow really threw me for a loop!! Especially since we rarely get snow in Charlotte. But, like Hanny said, I'm sure it was more of a test of his commitment - but still... Pretty crazy stuff!

As usual, another home run interview by Whiskey Throttle. Have listened to this one twice already

Hanny has a bad rap but he's always been super chill. I think its cool how candid and open he is about everything in his career.

The only thing that bugs me about Hanny is all his comebacks. It's the same thing, doing it for the kid, I'm a dad now, doing it my way, I'm in a really good place, never felt this good before, blah blah blah.

Wrong thread, bro. You don't know what he's been through!

He's still a really likeable guy. The interview is kinda funny. There are times where you can tell he doesn't remember his own past and just kind of says something silly and laughs and tries to move past it.

Hanny is a good dude that ALWAYS takes time of his fans. When they did X-Games step up downtown Austin quite a few years back, he was running late for practice runs and still took the time to chat with my daughter and take a picture. She stills talks about it to this day. A few of the other riders there that night wouldn't give us the time of day, so he definitely earned my respect that night!

Great show Ping!! couldn't not shut it off until it was over! Whisky Throttle show is fucking legit man!!

Better than the guests who try to bullshit their way through the past, as if its not documented history and nobody else was there.

I was complaining about the audio from Troy Lee Show and I just wanted to say that I think there has been a huge improvement in the quality.

He seems to excel above his weight class with the ladies. Good for him! Some of that stuff was funny. You could tell he was holding back and had more on the topic with those two women in particular. Too funny!

I remember one time I did one of his Pops’ schools at Starwest and Buckelew was the guest pro on his yz 80. He did textbook figure 8s for days and other drills for the class and everyone was like oh wow. Meanwhile hanny was there justcdoing laps by himself and no one even acknowledged him. Funny how things worked out. You can’t argue with natural talent.

Although it wasn't a live show, I have faith that you guys will have it dialed by your next one!

Twitch and Hanny both been great interviews. Whiskey has done many excellent interviews and they only been at it six months. We are all fans and want to hear real stories. Keep it up Ping and GL.

I always liked his style, shame he could never finish a season later in his career.

Agree 100%, really enjoying the shows. I was never a big fan of Hanny in his racing career, but by the end of this episode I found myself warming to him. Getting to hear his story makes him more endearing, and makes me think less about some of the bonehead stuff he did on the track.

Finally got done listening to the whole show.. Whew. I never would've guessed that he had any history with Shorty! That's rad.

Just goes to show how much people judge others without having a fucking clue what they are going thru...… One of my favorite aspects of the show is hearing about stuff that puts everything us "outsiders" saw into perspective.

I wasn't going to watch because the last 5 interviews I've seen or heard from him it's just been a repeat of "I don't know man, I just love riding my dirt bike" and "fatherhood really changes you" over and over but after reading this thread I will give it a listen. Thanks.

Anyone got a link to the episode/s of "The Hills" which he is in ?

Sounds like he got paid well enough to encourage anyone enough to do it...

Great show.. Never really knew what to make of Hanny. The beauty of this show is we as fans get to see a different side of them. Seems like a great guy. I like his chilled personality and great story of a dude who is exceptionally talented on a dirt bike. Thanks Whiskey Crew

Seems like a really good dude and way more humble about his hit list than I'd be haha

When he was talking about the picture of his face I remembered I saw it here so I googled it and stumbled on some pics of him with Kellie Osbourne haha as in Ozzie's daughter! Classic
