Why would he leave? Seems like he is doing fine where he is.

The odds of him winning the Lites West are still very great,as most know.
He has the points lead and should be healed and ready to go come Seattle...
If he wins that championship it should help him land a good ride for 2012 ,I would assume.
He has had Monster backing him for some time now and who knows what Mitch's plans are for 2012?
Maybe we could see him on a PC 450 or like already mentioned ,maybe some sort of deal with H&H.
One thing I do hope is who ever he signs with ,he goes and races back down under to defend his championship down there.

The rumor floating around is that they were gonna scratch off MotoX racing and have a Enduro Cross this year.
I guess time will tell.

I'm pretty sure this will be the last year he is allowed to run that class. As of right now PC don't have a 450 team. Ohh maybe he could be a member of team twotwo motorsports! Wait no they are a outdoor team!

Got to tell you click click, that picture of James as your avatar is just dickish and douchebaggy. Not very cool to kick a man when he is down. Or...am I missing something?

I don't think he has to move up after this year. Even if he wins the title he will be able to ride lites in 2012.

Hansen is lucky he races in America, being able to make a living racing 8 15 minute races a year is a bit of a joke imo.

I would like to see him race the British MX series and the GPs..that would toughen him up and show what he really has... but the guy has the serious talent and style on a motorcycle, I love watching him ride.

Carey said he made a run at him, but fully understands why he chose PC. and that he would love to have him back on a 450.

You’re right about the first part at least, amazingly enough Josh is not even close to pointing out. The new system is retroactive back to 2007 and he only got 98 points in 2007, then had a couple of seasons with only a handful of points in the 450’s (08/09 – and he wasn’t top 20) so that didn’t point him out, and then he only got an even 100 in 2010 (and it takes three seasons of 120 or more – 105 if it’s seven rounds, 135 if it’s nine rounds).

However……that being said, Josh can and WILL be pointed out if he wins the title this year. No title defense clause in that situation unfortunately for Josh.

Don’t shot me, I’m just the messenger, and let’s not get off on a tangent now about how crazy it is that Josh Hansen is somehow still eligible and these rules suck. They’re moving in the right direction with the new rule the way it is, it will just take time to weed out some of the guys that fell thru the cracks during the transition. Josh hasn’t done anything that a number of other riders hasn’t already done over the years in the lites class. But moving forward, the class should eventually get back to a true entry level support class with this new rule in place.

Why, so he could lap them all on a 125CC and smoke a "blunt" on the side of the track? That would be even easier for the hippie.

You know, I never thought of it this way-holy shit! But you didn't count the 6 lap heat races did you? So, you need to add another 8 races at apporx 6 to 7 minutes per...hey, good work if you can get it! Don't hate the playa, hate the game I guess.
